Bottled Water Distributor

A bottled water business includes telephone sales, inventory management, delivery truck routing and customer service.  Our client had managed their business with a set of cross-linked Access databases that they frequently synchronized by emailing between their offices.   As their business grew they needed a single database that could be accessed by several people at the same time. 

The database includs a sales interface to take an order by phone and run the payment as either a credit card or ACH transaction.  The system generates an abbreviated text string that is sent to the cell phone of a delivery truck for the initial delivery. 

The system manages inventory going on and off the trucks and computes monthly bills for each customer tailored to their water usage and the terns of their contract.   The system is integrated with PaySimple™ to speed the payment process by running the payments as soon as the bills are computed.  Incoming customer calls are categorized by type and routed to the appropriate person for resolution

 Financial Services

A financial services company needs to support selling a large number of financial services, each one requiring a different information from the customer, different documents and special steps in the sales and fulfillment process.  Our client asked for a system to ensure all his brokers followed the same process and ensure this process could be easily kept up to date. 

The system provides a list of questions the broker needs to ask, a set of steps that need to be checked off, templates for documents that must be filled out as part of the transaction and a repository for completed documents. 

This system has a unique management interface that allows the client’s business experts to create the business process for each of the different financial services.   No programming is needed to update processes or add new ones.

Retail Equipment Rental & Service

A company that distributes credit card validation machines and resells the validation service to its customers needed a system to manage tens of thousands of customers from their offices in several different states.

The system we built includes a call center, sales commissions, inventory at the customer site and customer service for their operation.   Leads imported from their predictive dialer are distributed to their sales reps and tracked through the sales process.  Customer contracts are scanned into the system and stored with the customer record.  Customer calls are tracked through resolution and the results stored with the customer.

 House Painting Franchise Operation

House painting franchisees generate proposals in Excel on laptops as they visit their customers.   The franchisees upload their Excel proposals, estimates and invoices and the system automatically imports the data into a relational database that is used to track the performance of each franchisee by month. 

The system can be programmed to cherry pick data from different locations in your existing spreadsheets and create a powerful relational database with the data. 

 Medical Testing Startup  

 

A startup company is developing over-the-counter testing kits to be sold in drugstores with a mailer to send the samples back to a central laboratory for analysis.   The users can then log into the system to see the results of the test with complete anonymity.   No user identification is stored on the system. 

The system generates a random barcode for each sample and a corresponding account for the customer.  The system has interfaces for manufacturing, for the laboratory as well as the customer.  

 

We have used our unique insight into the requirements of small business to build, BillDynamo™, an intuitive system designed to manage sales, billing and everything in between.  The goal of BillDynamo™ was to include the 20% of features that meet the requirements of 80% of small businesses.
